Water Damage from a Burst Water Heater

Multiple times each year, we get calls from homeowners whose water heaters have either leaked or burst. Because these tanks hold gallons of water, they can cause significant flooding to nearby areas.

In this home, the water heater burst and affected multiple rooms—including their garage full of personal belongings. When our team arrived, we removed all of the furniture and affected belongings and extracted the water. As with any home, we also placed drying equipment to speed up the evaporation process and to dry out wet materials before mold began to grow.
