Extracting and Drying Flooding in a Basement

In early February of 2020, our area endured a period of heavy rains and flooding. During this time, our office received more than 100 phone calls from customers—many whose homes and basements had been flooded.

In the basement of the home pictured above, the sump pump failed, which allowed the intruding water to build up and damage their belongings. Once the rain stopped, our water damage mitigation team immediately began extracting the sitting water and set drying equipment to speed up the evaporation process. We even applied an antimicrobial spray to reduce the risk of mold growth!

We were able to dry this customer's basement and get it back to its original condition.
