Removing Wet Carpet in a Flooded Basement

Basements are the most frequent targets when it comes to flooding. These spaces are also where people tend to store many of their belongings, making them easily susceptible to damage.

In this home's basement, however, they also carpet that was heavily saturated by the rain. Because water damages carpets (and can create an unwelcome odor), we had to remove all of the customers' belongings and remove the affected carpet. This also allowed us to dry the concrete subfloor.

The customer was very happy with our quick response and our professionalism. Once the floor dried, they were able to have new carpet placed!
